Will Howard, an Ohio State star, is denied entry to the Rose Bowl stage

Ohio State Star Will Howard Denied Access To Stage For Rose Bowl Celebration

Ohio State quarterback Will Howard was prevented from joining his teammates on stage to celebrate their significant Rose Bowl victory against Oregon… as officials required the Buckeyes star to remain on the field during the postgame celebrations.

The video circulated on social media after the Scarlet and Gray comfortably defeated the Ducks to avenge their earlier loss this season, with Howard — who delivered an impressive performance with 319 yards and three touchdowns — spearheading the effort.

Although the performance that led OSU to its 41-21 win was impressive, Howard evidently received no preferential treatment … with staff members advising the quarterback to remain off the stage as the Buckeyes received the Rose Bowl Trophy.

In the video, Howard’s teammate, Tyleik Williams, urged him to jump on the stage to enjoy the spotlight … but he mentioned that he was told he couldn’t due to concerns about his weight.

People even advised Howard to attempt entering from the opposite side … but he claimed they prevented him from accessing that way as well.

It seems Howard finally got his moment on stage … and although officials tried hard to dampen the mood, he appeared to be in high spirits about the honor.

Howard also shared a postgame kiss with his girlfriend, Lauren Leiker … which, we assume, improved everything.

The Bucks will now direct their attention toward the Texas Longhorns for a College Football Playoff semifinal clash at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
