India In the T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup, A chased the target in 11 overs with seven wickets remaining after bowling out the UAE for just 107.

In Monday’s ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 encounter in Al Amerat, Rasikh Salam and Abhishek Sharma assisted India A in defeating the United Arab Emirates by a commanding seven wickets.

UAE chose to bat first after winning the toss, however their choice did not work out as they were dismissed after scoring 107 runs in the first inning and were bundled out in 17 overs.

After taking three wickets in his two-over session, Rasikh Salam took the lead in India A’s bowling attack. In his two-over spell, Ramandeep Singh took two wickets, demonstrating his skill with the ball as well. In their individual periods, Anshul Kamboj, Vaibhav Arora, Abhishek Sharma, and Nehal Wadhera each claimed one wicket.

India A lost just three wickets during the run chase and finished the game in just 11 overs.

Abhishek Sharma and Prabhsimran Singh opened for India A, but they were only able to score eight runs together. However, India A defeated the UAE by seven wickets thanks to a 73-run stand between Abhishek and Tilak Varma.

Ultimately, Ayush Badoni and Nehal Wadhera were undefeated in the crease and finished the game spectacularly with a four.

The UAE failed to protect the designated objective and played a clumsy ball-handling game. The UAE’s lone wicket-takers were Vishnu Sukumaran, Muhammad Farooq, and Omid Rahman.
